Kristina Dunaway, Office Manager, Operations & Client Experience

Kristina is the person helping make sure Harbor works as well behind the scenes as we want it to feel when a client walks through the door.

As Harbor’s Office Manager, she oversees much of the day-to-day organization that keeps the practice moving, from client communication, scheduling, and intake coordination to administrative systems, documentation, and the countless details that allow our clinicians to focus on their clients.

Since joining Harbor, Kristina has made a significant impact on the way our practice operates. She has helped create greater structure, consistency, and follow-through across our administrative processes while improving the experience for both clients and clinicians. Her ability to identify what is not working, organize it, and build a better system has allowed Harbor to continue growing without losing the personal experience that matters so much to us.

Kristina brings more than 17 years of administrative, human resources, and operational experience to Harbor. Her background includes managing high-volume personnel environments, developing organized workflows, coordinating scheduling and documentation systems, handling confidential information, and serving as a reliable point of contact when people need answers or problems solved.

She is also a retired U.S. Army Veteran, where she held administrative and leadership roles supporting hundreds of personnel. That experience shows in the way Kristina works: she is organized, dependable, proactive, attentive to detail, and very good at keeping multiple moving pieces moving in the same direction.

Most importantly, Kristina understands that contacting a counseling practice can feel vulnerable. She works to make the process of getting started feel clear, welcoming, and human, whether someone knows exactly what they need or is simply calling Harbor because they know they need help figuring out the next step.

At Harbor, we talk a lot about creating a practice where people feel cared for from the first interaction, not just once they reach the therapy room.Kristina has helped us become better at doing exactly that.
