Hallie Keel, M.S., LPC-S, RPT-S

Play Therapy, Attachment, Individuals, Perinatal Mental Health, & Young Adults

Hallie works with children, parents, young adults, and individuals navigating pregnancy and postpartum life, with particular specialties in attachment, trauma, play therapy, perinatal mental health, and anxiety. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, she brings extensive clinical experience into the room while remaining warm, practical, and deeply relational.

Hallie has worked with children and families throughout her career. Before joining Harbor, she spent nearly two decades working in an intensive residential setting with children who had experienced significant trauma, loss, disrupted caregiving relationships, and developmental concerns. That experience shaped the way she understands behavior—not simply as something to correct, but as communication about what a child may be experiencing internally.

As a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Hallie provides Child-Centered Play Therapy for children as young as three. She also works with children experiencing Reactive Attachment Disorder and other attachment-related concerns, incorporating Theraplay, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), parent sessions, and other relationship-focused interventions when clinically appropriate. She is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and uses this approach with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma.

Hallie also holds certification in perinatal mental health and enjoys supporting individuals who are trying to conceive, pregnant, postpartum, or adjusting to parenthood. She works with postpartum depression and anxiety and, when appropriate, uses screening tools including the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale and PHQ-9. Hallie understands that someone can deeply love their child while also struggling with anxiety, depression, identity changes, overwhelm, or simply not feeling like themselves during this season.

She also enjoys working with young adults who feel anxious, stuck, or uncertain about their direction in life. Early adulthood can bring tremendous pressure to have careers, relationships, identity, and the future figured out. Hallie helps clients slow down that pressure, better understand themselves, and build confidence in making decisions that reflect who they actually are.

Hallie believes meaningful change grows from safety, relationship, and connection. Whether she is sitting on the floor with a young child, helping a parent rebuild connection, supporting someone through postpartum anxiety, or helping a young adult determine what comes next, her goal is to help clients develop greater understanding, regulation, confidence, and resilience.
