She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has additional training in attachment-focused approaches and play therapy. Her background also includes hospital-based behavioral health, crisis assessments, and connecting individuals and families with appropriate resources.
Courtney takes a holistic, individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that each person's experiences, relationships, environment, and strengths play an important role in their overall well-being. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages feel safe, understood, and accepted. Courtney believes therapy can be both meaningful and fun, especially for children and adolescents, and incorporates play, games, creative activities, and engaging approaches to help younger clients express themselves, process emotions, build trust, and develop healthy coping skills.
Courtney is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, grief and loss, attachment concerns, perinatal mental health challenges, and other significant life experiences. Through compassion, collaboration, and connection, she works alongside clients to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and develop practical tools to support their emotional well-being and personal growth.
